If your Representatives refuse to listen, then it is up to us to make sure they are replaced asap. Watching these Senate Hearings it can easily be concluded that there are many Senators that are too old, stubborn, and ignorant to hold those positions of representation in todays fast paced, progressive, and evolving technological age. 
Many of these Senators and Congressman were born and lived most of their adult life before the invention of the telephone, TV, much less the computer, internet, and cell phone. Their views are prehistoric and most of them are only concerned with their image not the issues. 
They are stuck in their ways and views and this is made obvious when it takes them 20 minutes to make a statement and/or ask one question without care as to the answer. 
It's all about Party Posturing and Special Interest Views.

In Most Third World Countries, the elders carry the most wisdom and respect due to their experiences with hunting, gathering, and social skills. Today's technology has reversed this in the World's most powerful Nations. Today our children have more experience with technology and its potential more so than the elders will ever have. We live in a completely different world than our elders, therefore it would be impossible for them to be respected by todays youth and therefore are not good representatives to the will of the people. 

With Some Senators and Congressmen "Old as Dirt", it is time for them to be retired and the next generation of leaders equipped with todays technology and lessons of our fathers that should be making the important decisions that effect America and the world around it.
